As a sought after editor who has created impactful stories for the design industry’s leading publications, Benjamin Reynaert has cultivated his own lived-in and layered aesthetic that celebrates personality in decorating. With the founding of Benjamin Reynaert Creative, his successful launch into interior styling and creative direction, the studio’s focus is on translating spaces into impactful visuals with a rigorous attention to stylistic details and moments of life. After graduating from the architecture school at the Rhode Island School of Design and having studied historic bookbinding in Rome, Italy, Reynaert brings an editorial and craft focused approach to his creative practice, seeking out often overlooked details that contribute to understanding how the viewer experiences the pacing of a home in a series of two dimensional photographs.
He has held top editorial posts and contributes regularly to publications including AD, ELLE DECOR, domino, House Beautiful and VERANDA. He is a contributing editor at FREDERIC and is a co-founding board member of the Asian American Pacific Islander Design Alliance (AAPIDA). He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA and BARCH.
Reynaert continues to build upon his creative practice by directing editorial shoots, developing visual branding languages and developing product, bringing his celebrated signature style and voice forward.
